Permanent Events and Missable Features Guide for Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)
Cutscenes of unreplayable stages cannot be viewed again.
Note that you cannot rewatch any cutscenes in unreplayable stages from the Arete Stone in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16). Because of this, try to avoid skipping any cutscenes if it is your first time going through the game’s main story quests.
Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Main Quest Walkthrough
You cannot change the difficulty (Gameplay Focus) if you start the game on Final Fantasy Mode.
Once you start New Game Plus (NG+) on Final Fantasy Mode, you cannot change it to Action Focus or Story Focus afterwards.
Because of this, it is recommended to begin a Final Fantasy difficulty run only if you have unlocked all challenge-related trophies (those that require you to perform specific actions in battle) as they will become significantly harder to do on this mode.
Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Trophies and Achievements List
Gotterdammerung (best weapon for New Game) is missable.
Do not sell the base weapon and materials required to forge Gotterdammerung.
Gotterdammerung, the best sword for Clive on New Game (NG), can be become permanently missable if you sold off any of the rare materials (including the base weapon Ragnarok) required to forge it at the blacksmith. This also locks you out of getting the Half-Past Twilight achievement for the duration of the playthrough.

Half-Past Twilight achievement (Silver trophy) is missable.
As mentioned above, the Half-Past Twilight achievement can no longer be unlocked in your current run if you sold off the materials to forge Gotterdammerung. Your only other chance to smith the weapon (and get the trophy) is in NG+.
