Screen Brightness
Night sequences in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) are very dark and it is very difficulty to see if you play on the default setting.
Because of this, it is recommended to increase screen brightness until you do are comfortable with it.
Note that you can adjust this setting anytime. In general, it is a good idea to play with screen brightness set to maximum specifically for sequences that occur during nighttime.
Game Performance
For the Game Performance setting, you can select between “Priority to Image Quality” and “Priority to Performance.”
The second option (“Priority to Performance”) stabilizes the game’s frame rate and makes screen movement smoother during battle. This is generally easier on the eyes during combat compared to playing on “Priority to Image Quality.”
Players who value gameplay comfort should set their Game Performance to the recommended option.
Gameplay Mode
The “Action Focus” gameplay mode lets you fully enjoy combat action set to manual operation.
“The Story Focus” mode, meanwhile, gives you access to support accessories that enable Clive to automatically perform combos and evade enemy attacks even at the start of the game.
It is recommended that you start the game on “Action Focus” first and change it to your preference along the way.
Camera Movement Speed
The movement speed of the camera is a little slow on the “2” (default) setting. As much as possible, try increasing camera movement speed so that looking to the left, right, top, and bottom will be smoother and faster.
