What is “Buy a Round For The Hall”?

“Buy a Round for the Hall” is a sub-event that can be done at the Tub & Crown, a bar found in The Hideaway in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16). If you talk Maeve, the bar’s owner, you can order a drink or treat everyone at the hall to a round.

Tub & Crown Order Choices

Talking to Maeve at the Tub & Crown lets you choose between two options: “Order a drink” or “Buy a round for the hall”. Each choice has a different price (Gil), animation, various patterns of dialogue so try to drink at the bar whenever you can.

Unlocks the “Eureka” achievement (bronze trophy)

Eureka	Spend 36,000 gil at the Tub & Crown.

The “Eureka” achievement (bronze trophy) can be obtained by spending a total of 36,000 Gil at the Tub & Crown. You can get the trophy either by choosing to “Order a drink” or “Buy a round for the hall”.

Do Hunts and Slay Notorious Marks to Get Gil.

If you do not have enough Gil to unlock the trophy, it is recommended to earn money by doing Hunts. You can earn more than 5,000 Gil by just clearing C-rank Hunts and defeating Notorious Marks until you get enough money to unlock the Eureka achievement.
