Will Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Have DLC?
No plans for DLCs at this time.
In an interview with Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) game producer Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P), it was revealed that there are currently no plans to release DLC for the game anytime soon.
FF16’s story, battle system, and other content were developed with the aim of creating a game that offers a full experience for players. There are no DLCs to complement the game’s narrative as with the case in Final Fantasy XV (FF15).
Should FF16’s story become popular, will DLCs be added?
Yoshi-P, in another interview, said that they may consider adding DLCs to FF16 if the game receives favorable feedback from players.
DLC such as new equipment, Eikon summons, costumes, and mini games may also be added to the game instead of new story content.
