Act 3 Walkthrough – Second Battle of Zofia Forest [Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia]

Second Battle of Zofia Forest

After fueling up in Fort Desaix, make your way out and you’ll find yourself in Zofia’s Forest again. So, this is pretty much the Second Battle of Zofia Forest.

Map Strategy

As you enter the map, you’re going to have a problem. You’ll have several Cavaliers running around in the map. If you want to beat down the Cavaliers, make sure you get units that have high DEF stats. Have them meet the Cavaliers head on while hiding your far ranged hitters among the forest obstacles. If you managed to save Mathilda from the last mission, you can use her.

But take note, there will be a Paladin incoming. Take them out as fast as you can as they can inflict heavy damage in the long run.

On Hard Mode, don’t split your army in two. What you want to do is to whittle down the enemy slowly. To do this, use Lukas and his Sacred Ring to whittle down the enemy slowly. If he has high DEF, he can confront the enemy head on. If he has low def, have him attack on range. After that, you can use either Mercenaries and your mages to take down the enemy.
