One Piece Odyssey introduces two brand new characters Adio and Lim. The game is set for release on January 12th, 2023 for the Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam (PC).

Who are Adio and Lim in One Piece Odyssey?

Adio and Lim are two new characters to make their debut appearance in One Piece Odyssey. Designed by One Piece author Eiichiro Oda himself, both characters are introduced at the beginning of Straw Hat Pirate’s new adventure on the mysterious island Waford which sets into motion the main events of the game.

Adio Suerte

Adio is an explorer who lives in Waford and appears as a muscular man with tattooed arms and long wild pale blue hair. He wears a yellow vest, dark blue pants, and black boots.

Very little is known about Adio other than the fact that he had drifted ashore on the new island of Waford. Upon meeting the Straw Hat Pirates, he allies with the crew and acts as a guide for them. Adio’s first and last names seem to be of Spanish origin. “Adio” is quite similar to “adios” which means “goodbye” while “suerte” means “luck”.

Adio is voiced by Masaya Matsukaze in the Japanese version of One Piece Odyssey.

Lim

Lim is a mysterious young woman that the Straw Hat Pirates also meet in Waford. She appears as a slim fair-skinned girl with short black hair cut in a bob. Lim’s attire consists of a light blue dress with a hood and sleeves that are baggy at the ends and are cut off just past the elbow. She is also seen in trailers carrying a large glass bottle shaped like a gourd.

After the Straw Hat Pirates are washed ashore on the island, the crew’s captain Luffy loses his straw hat which Lim finds and returns to him.

It is stated in official material that Lim dislikes pirates for reasons that have yet to be explained.

Lim has been described as having an unknown ability to manipulate nature on the island of Waford. She can also seal the power of other people inside cube-like objects which she can force out of a person’s body. These blocks then scatter around the island.

Lim is also revealed to be able to send people into worlds constructed out of their memories. These dimensions are revealed in the game to represent “The World of Memories” system.

Lim is voiced by Marika Kono in the Japanese version of One Piece Odyssey.
