How to Recover TP for One Piece Odyssey
What is TP?
In One Piece Odyssey, Tension Points or TP is a resource required to use character skills in battle. In general, you want to save your TP for fighting strong foes like bosses so order to use skills so avoid using them up on weaker enemies.
Max TP varies for each character.
The maximum amount of TP available for each character is different. Among the characters that rely on TP the most are Chopper who requires the resource to use healing and offensive skills. Because of this, you will need to be more mindful of using skills with certain characters compared to others.
TP does not recover automatically.
Based on the game’s demo version, it seems that TP does not automatically recover. This may change in the full version of the game. It may also be possible to auto-recover TP by equipping certain accessories, though this has yet to be confirmed.
Ways to Recover TP
After attacking and when battle begins.
You can recover TP by using normal attacks and when the battle begins. The TP that you build up in previous encounters will carry over to the next one so it is possible to accumulate TP by saving them.
Using items or eating meals.
You can recover your TP by using items or eating food. It is, however, best to use this method during emergencies when you run out of TP during or before a battle.
