What is Combat Knife?

A weapon suited for close encounters. It has been Leon’s go-to since receiving it during his time at the R.P.D. This knife can be used for stealth kills, melee attacks when an enemy is downed, and parrying attacks. This knife is unlocked after a cutscene at the start of game.

Features of Combat Knife

Stealth Kill

You can use the Combat Knife for stealth kills, resulting in an instant kill on the enemy. A successful stealth attack will save you ammos and lessen the chance of sustaining damage. Using the knife will deplete its durability, so be wary of the knife’s durability.

Blocking the enemy attacks(Parry)

A variety of attacks, including direct attacks and tossed objects , can be deflected by the Combat Knife. Since parrying attacks continuously depletes durability, avoid using parry constantly and instead use dodge when possible.

Using Knife to break free from an enemy

When an enemy managed to grab you, break free by pressing the knife button repeatedly. By doing this, you can break free quickly and at the same time deal damage to the enemy.
