All Post-Game Unlockables Guide for Resident Evil 4 Remake
This page contains all post-game unlockables for Resident Evil 4 Remake (Biohazard RE 4), including all-new game modes, costumes and outfits, features, gameplay elements, and bonus content that become available after beating the game on various difficulty modes with different Completion Ranks.
Completion Ranks
Most of the game’s post-game features listed below can be unlocked by getting specific Completion Ranks based on how fast you can clear the main story on various difficulty modes. You can read the guide below to view all required time records for all Completion Rank and rewards obtained for meeting them.

Professional Difficulty Mode
Clearing the game for the first time on any difficulty setting will unlock Professional mode, the game’s hardest difficulty level. Note that achieving 100% completion (Platinum trophy) requires you to beat the game on various difficulty modes with specific completion ranks so you will need to do more than one run if you want to unlock all achievements.
Resident Evil 4 Remake (Biohazard RE 4) Trophy and Achievement List
New Game Plus (NG+)
New Game Plus (NG+) becomes available after completing your first playthrough on any difficulty. This mode allows you to play through the entirety of the main story again with weapons and upgrades, ammo, items, and money carried over.
New Costumes
Pinstripe Mafia Outfit (Leon) and Knight Armor Outfit (Ashley)
Beating the game on any difficulty mode for the first time unlocks Leon’s Pinstripe Mafia Outfit at the Extra Content Shop (Apparel). Clearing the main story on Hardcore difficulty with an A rank, meanwhile, gives you access to Ashley’s Knight Armor Outfit. These costumes can be equipped from the Extras menu.

Outfit Variants
Finishing all main story chapters also unlocks alternate versions of Leon and Ashley’s outfits. You can also acquire these costume variants by purchasing them from the Extra Content Shop.

New Weapons
Infinite Rocket Launcher, Chicago Sweeper (Chicago Typewriter), Handcannon, and Primal Knife
Various secret guns are also added to the Weapon Merchant’s shop and Extra Content shop upon achieving different Completion Ranks on different difficulties.

New Accessories and Charms
Achieving specific completion time ranks also unlocks new accessories and charms to further customize Leon and Ashley’s appearance. Certain accessories and charms also grant Leon powerful effects.

The Mercenaries Mode
It has been confirmed that Mercenaries Mode will be included in the remake as a post-launch DLC. This optional mini-game lets you play as various iconic characters from the series (other than Leon) such as Ada Wong, Jack Krauser, Hunk, and Albert Wesker to take down as many enemies to earn points as you can before time runs out.

New Playable Characters
As mentioned above, different characters can be unlocked in Mercenaries Mode, each with their own weapon loadouts and unique melee attacks. You will need to clear each of the four mini games levels (Village, Castle, Island, and Water World Island) with at least 4★ rank to gain access to the full roster.
