Overall Reception

Based on the ratings and reviews, Resident Evil 4 Remake (2023) enhances the aesthetics, gameplay, and in-game experience of the original 2005 video game in its own right. As a remake, it will bring the original game’s classic story to a new generation of gamers who would surely like it.

However, the remake appears to be a straightforward experience and no longer expansive where the player can go on a tangent while exploring the map. It also has some cut content such as missing enemies like the U3 which represents the terror element of the game. We’re hoping that a future DLC will include these missing pieces through an update or DLC.

In comparison to the original Resident Evil 4 game, the 2023 remake is still a fantastic game in its own right, but it falls short of the original.
