How to Beat Chainsaw Man Guide for Resident Evil 4 Remake (Biohazard RE:4)
Who is the Chainsaw Man?
The Chainsaw Man is a huge man wearing a potato bag on his head and wields a large chainsaw in the Resident Evil 4 Remake (Biohazard R E:4) Demo. Despite the Chainsaw Man’s size, he can attack Leon with tremendous speed while being able to absorb a lot of hits himself. Below are some useful tips to beat the Chainsaw Man.
Tips to Beat the Chainsaw Man
General Strategy
Try to maintain a safe distance away from Chainsaw Man by being on the move at all times. It is also recommended to lure him to an area with lots of obstacles so he will not be able to get to you as easily. One of the most effective ways to do this is to enter a building surrounded by barricades.
Inside the house in front of the bonfire, you can get a shotgun that will give you more firepower. Be sure to break objects around the area to get consumable items as well.
So save as much ammo as possible, try to use knife and melee attacks against Ganados and regular enemies before Chainsaw Man appears. This will will ensure that you have enough supplies when you take on Chainsaw Man.
Make your ammo count and use your explosives
Other than the Chainsaw Man, there are other enemies that will show up. Aim for the head or knees to stun them for a moment, allowing you to perform a melee attack. That way, you can preserve your ammo and use them in a more suitable situation. You can get consumable items by breaking objects on the ground.
If you find yourself surrounded, you can use your grenades and flash grenades to break free and at the same time deal damage to your enemies. In addition, you can stun the Chainsaw Man using flash grenades, allowing you to perform a melee attack on him.
Chainsaw Man’s Rage Mode
The Chainsaw Man can take a lot of hits, but dealing a certain amount of damage will make him enter Rage Mode. This state will make his attacks come out faster and stronger. Your knife will come handy in this situation since you can parry his attacks with your knife. Be cautious of your knife’s durability because parrying will deplete its durability.
