Despite being inferior to your initial knife, this weapon can be used to repel or block enemy attacks. You can get this item in the underground area of the village. How to Get Kitchen Knife

Head to the village’s gate and discard everything in your inventory before entering the village.
Follow the path until you see a path on your right.
Take a right turn then turn left leading to a well.
Climb down the ladder to get inside the well.
Keep heading North until you see barrels on the corner.
Break the barrels near the treasure chest to get the Kitchen Knife.
Defeat the enemies and make your way out of the well.
