On the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Update
Scott Lowe, senior communications manager at Naughty Dog studios, announced last August 15 that there was a new update for the Uncharted 4 multiplayer. Additions included new Uncharted: The Lost Legacy character skins, a new and unique playable character in the person of Asav, and the Survival Arena–a cooperative challenge mode wherein you fight hordes upon hordes of enemies.
Included in their update was a trailer for the new update, specifically emphasizing the new gameplay mode:
The trailer begins with a supernatural, flaming, hovering creature summoning his minions. We get to see our characters fighting against these supernatural armed foes, armed with various weapons from the game. We also get to see enemies that run very fast at the player.
What we know so far
On Survival Arena
- Adds 100 + new waves
- New enemy types
- New siege zones
- New wave modifiers.
- New unlockable skins: “Savage Starlight Skeleton Skin”
Chloe and Nadine’s New Skins
- “Pulled directly,” from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Asav as a Player Character
- Not just a model, but the whole character itself, “complete with his own uniquely menacing VO.”
All updates are available for both Uncharted 4 owners and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, given that the latter comes with all multiplayer content.
