Playing Soccer

Run into position and use your Joy-Con to send the giant ball flying into the back of the net! Play in one-on-one and four-on-four matches, or use the Leg Strap (included with the physical version of Nintendo Switch Sports and also available separately) to unleash impressive volleys in Shoot-Out mode.
A free software update coming this summer will also add Leg Strap compatibility for matches.
Football or Soccer Point Bonuses

| Knockout! | x1.1 | Win the match without letting your opponent score. |
| Went to Extra Time | x1.1 | Force over time by having the score tied before the time limit. |
| MVP Bonus | x1.1 | Have the highest score during the match. |
Motion Controls
With two Joy-Con controllers you can play in a Four-on-Four match or a One-on-One player match. Kick your leg to compete for points in the special Leg Strap mode Shoot-Out.
