Can You Use a Pro Controller to Play Nintendo Switch Sports?

Nintendo Switch Sports does not support Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers or any third-party game pads. You will only be able to play the different sporting events via Joy-Con motion controls. The Nintendo Switch Lite’s built-in control buttons are also not supported, though you can connect Joy-Cons to your device to play the game (not recommended).
In summary, Joy-Cons are currently the only means to play the game. This, however, may change in future updates. Please check back regularly for new announcements made by Nintendo regarding compatible controllers for Nintendo Switch Sports.
