Can You Change the English Commentary in FIFA 21?

FIFA 21 is available on multiple platforms: Google Stadia, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (PC).

Where are Martin Tyler and Alan Smith?

Lee Dixon and Derek Rae make up the English commentary team in FIFA 21, fully taking over the roles previously fulfilled by Martin Tyler and Alan Smith. The latter duo beloved by many fans for their performances in past FIFA games do not appear at all in FIFA 21.

There is currently no way to change the commentary team in FIFA 21 so you will only be able to hear matches cast by Lee Dixon and Derek Rae throughout the game.

Furthermore, there is no news of whether the developers plan to add Martin Tyler and Alan Smith in future updates of the game. While this may be disappointing for long-time FIFA fans, it should not prevent you from enjoying the game’s other features.

Changing Commentary Language

It is possible to change commentary language, effectively allowing you to hear different commentators in the game. This can be done under the Customise tab at the game’s main menu. Note that you can set the commentary to English, French, or Spanish (South American) regardless of your region.

How to Change the Commentary Language

Other commentary languages can only be accessed based on your current region. These are Spanish (Spain), Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese (Simple), Chinese (Traditional), Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, Russian, Danish, and Czech.
