Difficulty Settings
You can change the difficulty settings that affect the behavior of AI-controlled opponents in FIFA 21. This allows you to tailor the challenge when playing against the computer to suit your preferences and current experience in the game.
FIFA 21 is available on multiple platforms: Google Stadia, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (PC).
Types of Difficulty
There are seven (7) types of difficulty levels to choose from which will noticeably affect the performance of AI during matches. Below summarizes each of them.

How to Change Difficulty Settings
You can change the difficulty of the game by going to Customise from the game’s main menu.
1 | From the main menu, select Customise. |

3 | Select Game Settings. |
4 | Scroll down and select Difficulty Level. |
5 | Use the directional pad or left analog stick to set the difficulty to your desired level. |
Difficulty settings cannot be changed at any time during a match so as much as possible, choose one that you are comfortable playing on.
Difficulty Settings in FUT Squad Battles
Difficulty works a little differently in FUT Squad Battles since you will always be asked to select an opponent’s difficulty after choosing the team you want to play against. This is because each difficulty level in Squad Battles rewards you with varying amounts of points. Naturally, the harder difficulties will net you more points per match than in lower difficulties.
