New post-game features are unlocked after completing the main story of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Below is a list of additional game modes, playable characters, and new items (weapons and accessories) that become accessible once you beat the game on any difficulty, game mode, and play style.

New Game Plus (NG+)

Upon clearing the main story on any story route for the first time, New Game Plus (NG+) is unlocked. This allows you to play through the entirety of the game again with a number of new content added.

Recruit Sothis, Rhea, and Arval (Renown Exchange)

New playable units become available for purchase at the Renown Exchange once you have beaten the game. Unlockable characters include Sothis, Rhea, and Arval who are obtained in their unique unit classes and are among the most powerful characters in the game.

Note that unlocking Arval  is missable as it requires you to have recruited Byleth (and Jeralt) during Chapter 10 in addition to beating the game.

Recruit Gatekeeper

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes - How to Recruit Gatekeeper

Gatekeeper can be recruited once you begin your third playthrough of the game on any difficulty and story route (Scarlet Blaze – Black Eagles Route, Azure Gleam – Blue Lions Route, or Golden Wildfire – Golden Deer Route).

New Weapons

Several new weapons and accessories also become purchasable at the Renown Exchange in NG+. Note that the equipment unlocked after clearing the main story are some of the best you can use, making them incredibly useful for going through subsequent playthroughs of the game much more easily.

Best Weapons

Heraldic Emblems

Heraldic Emblems that increase the experience points earned in battle also become available for purchase at the Renown Exchange after beating the game.

March Whistle

The March Whistle can also be purchased from the Renown Exchange after beating the game. This item lets you instantly clear any battle stage. Doing so, however, will not let you receive any clear rewards and all achievement rank will automatically be rated D.

Maddening Difficulty Mode

Beating the game also unlocks Maddening mode which is essentially the game’s hardest difficulty. There are currently no know rewards for beating the game on this setting so only play on Maddening if you want a challenge or are finding Hard mode too easy.
