Brineskimmer Boss Strategy
Brineskimmer will be floating above at the start of the fight. Be ready to the run or dodge to the side as he will charge towards you in a straight line. You try hitting him with ranged attacks to get in some damage before he rushes toward you.
Brineskimmer’s weak points are the glowing yellowing orbs on its arms and head. Focus on attacking the spots on its arms first. Afterwards, Brinsekimmer will reel in pain and be temporarily incapacitated. Use this time to aim at his head while it is perched low to the ground.
A short cutscene will play. Afterwards, Brineskimmer will summon ice spires around the area. Destroy these to gather Higmakers. Afterwards, approach the gathered Higmakers to summon a magic machinegun. Use it to destroy Brineskimmer’s ice armor and make him vulnerable again. Then, continue peppering him with the gun (and magic) until he comes down again.
Watch out for Brineskimmer’s sweeping ice beam when he is airborne as it can deal significant damage and temporarily freeze you. The beam will also create a row of ice spires that deal damage if you are caught as they emerge from the ground.
From here, Brineskimmer will continue to cycle through his different attacks so keep gathering Higmakers and hitting him from afar when he is airborne. Evade his charging attack and ice beams and pummel his weak spots until he is defeated.
