Walkthrough

8-1 Homeward Bound

1	From the world map, fly northeast from Ding Dong Dell and land.
2	Travel back to Ding Dong Dell and watch the Maker of Kings open the passage.
3	Talk to the people marked on the map. Afterwards, talk to the shop assistant.
4	Go south and look for Shadow. Talk to him afterwards. Then, head back and talk to Crumbles.

8-2 A Species Oppressed

1	Go to the Old Well to the north and take out the enemies there.
2	From here, follow the path going right and clear out more enemies that appear.
3	You can turn left for a chest containing 3000 Guilders. Afterwards, move ahead to the path on your right to find some stairs.
4	To the right of the stairs is a Higgledy Stone. Give it a Blossomwheat and Bawbee the Bandit will join you.
5	Climb the stairs and take out the enemies. Afterwards, head for the chest at the room in the back and clear out the enemies nearby. Open the chest to get Superior Sixth Censer x1.
6	Move toward the other side of the room and go down the stairs. Ignore the path that opens to the left first and enter the room straight ahead. Deal with the enemies there and open the chest to get Gloomy Sword of Sighs x1.
7	Backtrack and take the path going left and head down.
8	In the next area, move ahead and take out the enemies along the way. Look to your right to find a chest with All-be-Gone x1.
9	Approach the statue on the left side and light the braziers on the right, left, and middle in order using Kindle. Afterwards, move on ahead and turn left.
10	Take out the enemies and go left again. Open the chest to get a Pair of Zappy Gaudy Galoshes x1.
11	Further down the other passage near the first brazier are more enemies. Go around them for now and head for the opening to find a chest inside. Open it to get Four-leafed Soreaway x1.
12	Head along the hallway and head for the prop-leafed clover by going left. Use Wind-whipper to go back to the other room.
13	From here, move toward the hall to the right going to the statue and light the brazier there using Kindle.
14	Go back to the previous room and do the same on the brazier there. Go up to the prop-leafed clover and use it to go to the first brazier. Light it up as well to open the gate.
15	Keep moving further toward the marked location. After dealing with the group of enemies along the way, and go right. Give the Higgledy Stone there a Forked Tail Bone and Dimity the Dastardly will join you.
16	Afterwards, head for the hallway on the left. Go left and take out the enemies near the chest. Afterwards, open the chest to get Chilly Dreadstare Staff x1.
17	From here, move along the path on the right. Deal with enemies there and open the chest behind you to get Spectral Silk x5.
18	Move forward toward some more braziers. Follow the hallway forward to find another group of enemies you need to take out. Pick up the Savior’s Tear behind them and move through the passage to the right.
19	Head past the two braziers while dealing with the enemies. Open the chest near the tree to get Sage’s Secret.
20	Move toward the next room and take out the enemies there. Afterwards, open the chest in the right corner at the back to get Vengeful Daredevil’s Armor x1.
21	Keep following the path back to the first brazier. Go up using the prop-leafed clover, walk to the brazier and examine it.
22	To reach the second brazier, move along the the wall to the right and go left as soon as the path opens up.
23	Afterwards, go up the stairs and head for the back hallway toward the third and final brazier.
24	Head back to the opened door near the first brazier and prepare to battle Queen of Dawn (view boss guide).
25	After defeating the Queen of the Dawn, move forward through the hallway and go left to find a chest containing Songbook No. 12.
26	Afterwards, head for the the other side of the area and go up the stairs. Talk to the three Grimalkins.

8-3 A Father’s Truth

1	Leave the city. Afterwards, go north and turn west to reach the Crypt of the Cat Kings.
2	Enter the crypt and get King Leonhard’s Diary from the chest.

8-4 Nemesis

1	Head to Ding Dong Dell Castle and prepare to battle Mausinger (view boss guide).
2	After reducing Mausinger’s HP to about 10%, watch the cutscene. Afterwards, prepare to battle Oakenhart (view boss guide).

8-5 Ding Dong Dell Joins the Union

1	Watch the cutscene.
2	Talk to Mausinger.
