King Mausinger Boss Strategy
Mausinger’s basic sword attacks are very similar to Evans, though the flame enveloping his blade gives him longer range. He will often do a two-hit sword slash followed by a spinning slash. You can dodge the first two strikes by dodging to his side or behind him. Note that the spinning slash can only be blocked and dodging it requires precise timing.
Mausinger will sometimes alter the third strike of his sword combo. Instead of going for the spinning slash, he will point his sword at you and do a flurry of slashes that covers a wide area in front of him. Dodge behind him at the right moment and wait for him to finish before engaging him again.
A good strategy against Mausinger is to wait for him to teleport and attack. Dodge his strike and counter with melee attacks or skills before he teleports again.
Mausinger will occasionally shoot rows of fireballs at you while erecting a red barrier for himself when he stands by the throne. Run towards him and pummel him with everything you have to destroy his shield, leaving Mausinger open to more follow-up attacks.
After reducing Mausinger’s HP to less than half, he will become more dependent on magic attacks. He will hurl multiple fireballs at you are not too hard to avoid. Stay alert throughout the fight and heal if you need to. Once you get Mausinger’s HP down to about 10%, the battle will end.
