Party Formations in One Piece Odyssey
In One Piece Odyssey, Straw Hat crew members can easily be by themselves or in groups with other crew members by setting formations.
Benefits of using Formations
Make use of each formation’s unique qualities in order to gain an advantage in battle.
Unfortunately, guest characters like Adio, Crocodile, Jinbe, Trafalgar Law, and Sabo do not adhere to part formations.
How to change Formations
In order to change formations, you must open your Swap Leader menu by pressing the Left or Right D-pad button. Then, press the □/x button to open the Change Formation option.
Formation List and Effects
Below is a list of party formations and their effects:
| Party Formation | Party Formation Effects |
|---|---|
| Base Placement | Distribute throughout areas evenly. |
| Leave it to the Captain | Luffy will be alone in the same area as enemies more often. It’s easier to fight powerful enemies. |
| Let the Sharp Shooter Work | Usopp will go to areas with no enemies more often. Attack from a safe place! |
| Protect the Doctor | Chopper will be in the same area as crew members more often. He’ll be attacked less often when he’s with friends! |
| Go With the Weakling Trio | Nami, Usopp, and Chopper will be in the same area more often. Even powerful enemies aren’t scary if they’re together! |
| Swirly Brows and Moss-Head Charge | Zoro and Sanji will be in the same area more often. Facing powerful enemies is easier. Leave the fighting to Zoro and Sanji |
