Resident Evil 7 thrilled players and caused them to wet their pants when it first came out last January. Now, nearly 9 months later, and with two DLC packs under its belt, RE7 developers now proudly release the ultimate Gold Edition for players who wanted to wait for the game. Dissecting the Trailer
What’s included in the Gold Edition?
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition includes the following items:
- The Main Game
- Banned Footage N0.1, which includes the following mini-games
- Bedroom, a prequel, where you play as Clancy, the last of the Sewer Gators crew to have survived the events of the demo.
- Ethan’s Nightmare where the player will have to fight through a basement full of enemies.
- Ethan Must Die: an extra game mode where in Ethan is pitted against a mansion full of powerful enemies.
- Banned Footage No.2, which includes the following game modes:
- 21, a card game with a deadly, biohazard-style twist.
- Daughters, a prequel set before the events of Resident Evil 7.
- Jack’s 55th Birthday, an extra game mode wherein you must feed Jack his food, or he gets very, very mad.
- End of Zoe, the final moments of Zoe Baker, daughter of Jack and Marguerite Baker.
- Not a Hero DLC (for all players)
Any hints or new details in TAPE-01 “Zoe”?
- In the video, around 0:36, you get to see some cuts of what’s possibly a cutscene in “End of Zoe.”
- Around 0:41, you can hear “Redfield” say, “There’s a lot more to bioterrorism than we thought.” This is a big statement, given the fact that Chris was in Lianshang in Re6. He knows how far Bioterrorism went.
- The final significant scene shown in the trailer would be in 0:45. A new cutscene, this one shows Zoe’s “crystalized” finger twitching. Could we be controlling an infected Zoe? What happens to her at the end?
