Boat House Walkthrough [Resident Evil 7/ RE7]

This is a detailed walkthroigh for the Boat House in Resident Evil 7.

Reaching the Boat House

Wooden Walkway Leading to the Boat House

Once Lucas has gotten away and you’ve checked the monitor, get the crank and exit the room. When you leave the room and get to the hall, you can find a Mr. Everywhere Doll from behind you up above. Go outside and pick up the handgun ammo and shotgun shells as you make your way down the wooden plank to your right. Look for the pulley where you can use the crank that you obtained to activate the pathway that proceeds down.

Follow the path until it forks and from there, take the path to your right. You will come up to a small shack. You can examine it to obtain some chem fluid. There will also be wooden boxes that contain some ammo. To the left under the nets will be another Mr. Everywhere Doll.

Get to the pulley. There will be some ammo in the wooden boxes and just behind the crab cages are some Magnum ammo. At the pulley, put the crank in to activate the path. By this time, multiple molded (around 3) will ambush you. One will jump out of the water and onto the wooden walkway, while two will appear after you make a right on the wooden path. Make quick work of them using the shotgun if you have enough ammo, otherwise use a handgun and aim for the head.

Make your way to the newly opened path. Two more molded will ambush you as you make your way across.

Safe Room

The first new area that you will come up to is a save room, so take the time to save your game. Help yourself to the stash of items here which include a herb, chem fluid, strong chem fluid, separating agent, gunpowder, handgun ammo, shotgun shells, some flame rounds and psychostimulants. You’ll need them for a final encounter with one very persistent customer. Also from this point, make sure you have visited all other areas that you intend to. You won’t be returning to the Dulvey Plantation anymore once you proceed onward from here. When you’re ready, proceed up the stairs to meet Zoe and Mia to create the serum.

Unfortunately, your reunion with Zoe and Mia will interrupted as a mutated Jack bursts into the area, beginning your final encounter with him.

Boss: Jack Baker (mutated)

Jacks’ abominable form for your final duel against him is quite a sight to behold. Luckily, he is quite slow and lumbering at this point, so mobility is the key to taking him out. The real challenge in the fight lies in aiming for his gigantic eyes as he will constantly be slithering about. Use the grenade launcher or the shotgun and make your shots count. He will constantly be moving from the upper and lower levels of the house so maintain a good position from him. Once you’ve blown out all of his eyes, he will fall.

As one last act of retaliation, Jack will get up and get hold of you. You will then use the serum on him to finally end him.

The next few cutscenes lead to the decision of whether to give the last remaining serum to Zoe or Mia. Choosing the first gets you the bad ending, while the second gets you the good one.
