This page contains a guide on Hoysala Tokens and the Queen’s Ruby in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The guide includes a list of all obtainable tokens as well as where to find them.
Hoysala Tokens and Queen’s Ruby
The Hoysala Token are hidden treasures that you can find in Chapter 4 of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Once you collect all 11 Hoysala Tokens, you will be able to obtain the Queen’s Ruby, one of the most useful items in the game. Take note that the Hoysala Tokens and the Queen’s Ruby are separate from the treasures that you can collect throughout the entire game.
Bird Hoysala Token
The Bird Hoysala Token can be found near along the path going to the tower near the marked area. The token is marked by a lantern which can be found by going around the wall of a small alcove with ruins. Make your way up the rocks. You’ll need to use the grappling hook to on obstacles along the way to get to a wall that you can destroy with explosives. Behind it will be the Bird Hoysala Token.
Pig Hoysala Token
The Pig Hoysala Token can be obtained next to the big mudslide on the marked location. Make your way up the small building. Afterwards, you need to use the grappling hook on the tree branch and swing across. You need to cross the mud by jumping repeatedly to reach an opening which houses the token.
Serpent Hoysala Token
At the marked location, make your way up the wall next to the snake statue. There will be a bell there that you need to shoot. Then, shoot the other six bells below to open a door that has the token.
Owl Hoysala Token
You will see a small shrine in this area. This will reveal the prize for collecting all the Hoysala Tokens and additionally will trigger the door to the left to open allowing you to retrieve the token.
Cow Hoysala Token
You must first grapple to various branches until you reach the object that will activate the fountain. You need to use your
grapple again and walk past each fountain to retrieve the Water Fountain Hoysala Token.
Elephant Hoysala Token
You will need to climb up above the cover and grapple it from above. If you try to pull it with your hands alone, you will fail. Use the platform you are standing in as a pulley and jump from the otherside to remove the cover and get the token hidden inside.
Dog Hoysala Token
There is a destructible brick wall near the marked area. Detonate a grenade at the brick wall and you will get the token inside.
Horse Hoysala Token
Climb up into the hidden area and you will see a horse puzzle on the wall. You need to rotate the incomplete circle at the center, and you would also have to pull and push each of the puzzle pieces at the left to the right and vice versa. Here is the solution for this puzzle:
- Move the big piece to the right
- Move the openings of the big circle and the middle circle to the left and get the next puzzle piece.
- Move the puzzle piece to the right.
- Move the opening of all circles to the left and get the smallest puzzle piece.
- Move the opening of the big circle and the middle circle to the left and get the middle puzzle piece.
- Get the biggest puzzle piece and complete the puzzle by moving the circles until you form the shape of a horse.
Once you complete the puzzle, the door to the left will open. You will be able to find the horse token inside the room.
Lion Hoysala Token
Go up the cliff and take out the enemies scouting the area (note that some enemies may see before you go up the cliff, so proceed with caution). You will be able to find the token once you open the lock box in a truck in the area.
Duck Hoysala Token
Search for the elephant statue and plunge into the water. Dive under and go through the underwater tunnel to find a room which houses the Elephant Hoysala Token.
Garuda Hoysala Token
Enter through the opening flanked by two large boulders to find a slope on the right. In order to get to that location, locate the wall Chloe is capable of scaling, it should be close to the marker statue.
Ascend upwards and swing across 5 grapple points. Along the way, you will stumble upon a lockbox which contains some weapons. Continue along the path and throw a bomb to break the door. Go through and receive the Garuda Hoysala Token.
Queen’s Ruby
Upon completing all 11 Hoysala Tokens, return to the site with the monkey as indicated on the map to find a shrine. Interact with it to release the cage’s lock to receive the Queen’s Ruby.
The Queen’s Ruby is a special bracelet that Chloe can equip on her wrist which reverberates (triggers the PS4 controller to vibrate) when a treasure is nearby. Access the menu screen to toggle it on or off. This feature is turned on automatically when you receive it. It makes finding treasures in game faster.
