Tips for Shooting
FIFA 21 is available on multiple platforms: Google Stadia, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (PC).
Get comfortable with the controls.
Knowing how to perform as many types of shots as you can grants you a wide arsenal of moves to use at any point during the game. While techniques like the chip shot and fake shot might find its usefulness more often than others, it is important to be able to mix it up with other moves against your opponent’s tight defense.

R1 + ◯ | Finesse Shot |
L1 + ◯ | Chip Shot (Lob) |
L2 + ◯ | Flair Shot |

Adding power.
Some shots like the low driven shot are best used with just enough power. Meanwhile, others shots like the finesse shot would vary depending on where you want the ball to go. Practice using varying intensities to determine the required amount of power you need when kicking the ball.
Timing.
Some commands like the flair shot can be tricky to pull off because of its poor accuracy. That being said, avoid making use of it when you’re behind the opposing team since the trade-off wouldn’t be worth your time during those crucial moments. Other shots like the chip shot offers a way to fight back during one-on-one encounters.
Execution.
Like timing, there are shots which require proper positioning. Moves like the finesse shot must always be done within the box.
