Wakka’s World Champion

The World Champion is Wakka’s best weapon, allowing Wakka to respond to attacks while giving him a chance to avoid incoming damage. It is obtained in Luca.

After reaching Luca during the main story, you will be able to join Blitzball tournaments at any time. Placing third in any of the tournaments allows you to get the World Champion from the bartender at the Luca cafe. Just make sure that you already have the Celestial Mirror to be able to obtain the weapon.

Celestial Mirror Guide

The weapon in its base form will have no abilities besides No AP, making it a poor choice in battle. You will need to upgrade it with the Jupiter Crest and Sigil to bring out its full potential.

Jupiter Crest

The Jupiter Crest is obtained after the first Blitzball match played at Luca during the game’s main story. After you regain control of Tidus, head to the Besaid Aurochs’ locker room and open the second locker from the wall near Botta to get the crest.

Jupiter Sigil

The Jupiter Sigil is one of the rewards you can get for winning in the Blitzball league. The item has a 50 percent chance of appearing after you have obtained all three of Wakka’s Overdrives as rewards from the league.

World Champion Abilities

Return to the shining path at Lake Macalania and offer the Jupiter Crest and Jupiter Sigil to enhance World Champion. Below are the abilities the weapon will have for each of its versions.
