The area composition of Duma’s Gate is heavily guarded with enemies, each of which cover DEF and RES.

Focus on the Witches first by placing a high RES Dread Fighter on the front line, then pair it with either Mae or Sonya to snipe them. Return a severe attack to the Witches that surround the Dread Fighter to take them out.

As you enter through the gate, use Genny’s Invoke to summon illusory allies and direct them to charge at the Dread Fighter. Select a Dread Fighter that does not perform a counterattack or a high DEF Baron from your roster. His chief duty is to ensure that the enemies cannot pass.

Given that the path is congested, you can inflict some attacks from the back by taking advantage of your units’ Ranged attacks. Take out the Bosses and Arcanists one by one by charging with the 3 Pegasus Sisters. Command the three to take out the following in order: Boss, Cantor, Arcanist.

The Boss will perform Upheaval which deals a massive wide area of effect, thus it is recommended to defeat him immediately over the other enemies. Since you cannot counterattack whenever it uses it, be sure to decide carefully on the arrangement of your team’s attack.

Lead with high RES units such as a Dread Fighter accompanied by Mae, and Sonya.

Once you reach the fort’s entrance, draw out the Dread Fighter with your own durable units. Some good examples are the Dread Fighter to prevent his counterattack or kite him with your high DEF Baron.

Whittle down Jamil’s health as he prepares to use Upheaval to avoid receiving his counter. Consider the timing to effectively deal damage to Jamil.

You can stay behind the wall while whittling down the Fiend with your Magician to bring his health down without risk.
