Camilla is the eldest princess of Nohr but the second eldest child. When Corrin had been adopted into the family, she acknowledged him/her as her younger sibling. Unfortunately, because she was a daughter of a concubine, her mother often used her to gain the attention of King Garon. This resulted into her becoming an overprotective mother figure. Despite being a princess, she wields an axe and has finely tuned battle skills. With her retainers, Selena and Beruka – she fights for Nohr on her wyvern’s back.

Stats

Camilla is a wyvern rider and therefore classified under Flier unit. Because of her being a Flier unit, she is capable of going through any form of terrain save for walls. She’s also quite well loved as an axe-wielder due to not many axe-wielders having good stats along with high mobility. Her main asset is her high ATK and Speed which pairs well with her weapon, Brave Axe.

Strategy

Camilla is a hit-and-run type of hero. Keeping her away from archers is one of the main strategies to go with especially those with Seal Spd as it will affect her ability to use Brave Axe. While Brave Axe subtracts 5 from her base speed, she can attack four times in a row if she has the speed advantage. Camilla also can tank Blue Tomes such as Robin (M), Reinhardt, Mae, and Linde, both who are powerful Blue Tomes. She can also easily chase them, rendering their attacks useless.

One way to improve her abilities is to switch out her Draconic Aura and Draconic Gaze for Iceberg which makes use of Camilla’s RES to add more damage. With that, she can also inherit Reposition from another hero which can help her other allies escape over what would be deemed “impassable”. Other passives such as Distant Counter can also help her live to her potential of being a “mage tank”. Players can also grant her Tomebreaker to give her an easier time against Blue Tomes or a better chance even against Green Tomes like Cecilia and Nino or Red Tomes like Celica and Katarina.

Counter

• Takumi – Takumi is the strongest of the archers with the ability to not only demerit her speed. Also, if he takes damage from other characters, he can unleash that damage back at Camilla. As is, the Fujin Yumi bow hurts like a truck and can easily shoot Camilla out of the sky.
• Virion – Virion is the cheaper alternative to Takumi. Similar to Takumi, he can seal the speed of his enemies when he engages them in combat. This may screw up her Brave Axe’s ability as she can suffer -7 speed after the encounter. What makes it worse is that his Silver Bow+ is second only to the Fujin Yumi of Takumi.
• Jeorge – With Spur Speed, Jeorge can enhance his allies’ speed to outstrip Camilla. As a Colorless/Bow, he deals additional damage to flier type enemies. Plus, he can soften Camilla’s blow using Threaten ATK.
• Cordelia (Bride) – Cordelia can heal her allies if she blasts Camilla using her Breath of Life skill. Not just that, she can also increase the DEF/RES of her allies if she attacks Camilla using Cupid Arrow+. Her high ATK can also rip right through Camilla without any problems.
• Lucina – If Lucina is granted Vantage and Distant Counter, Camilla will immediately turn into Swiss Cheese.
• Draug – As an armored Red, he’ll immediately reduce her damage to 0 and smash her right down.
• Zephiel – He’s similar to Draug but stronger.
