What are Blue Seeds of Defense?
Blue Seeds of Defense are a type of collectible resource in Sonic Frontiers that can be given to Hermit Koco to grant you a permanent increase in defense in battle. As you go explore the Open Zone areas, try to spend time farming Blue Seeds to increase your survivability against tougher enemies and bosses later during the main story.
Ways to Blue Seeds of Defense
Defeat enemies.
Enemies in the game will sometimes drop Blue Seeds of Defense upon defeat. Strong foes, especially bosses, are also more likely to yield the collectible after you take them down.
Complete Challenges.
Blue Seeds are also rewarded when you complete special Challenges found in the different biomes of the Starfall islands. Try to do some exploring whenever you can to find and trigger these optional missions.
Found all throughout the map.
It is also possible to find Blue Seeds from opening Steel Containers or picking them up in hidden areas around the map. Upon discovering a new location in the Open Zone, take the time to check nooks and crannies to find Blue Seeds.
Trade for using Treasure Tokens and Gold Cards at the Token store.
Blue Seeds can also be obtained from the Token store if you manage to get some Treasure Tokens or Gold Cards from Big the Cat’s fishing mini game.
