Cooking Meat Mini-Game Guide for Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers features a cooking mini-game that allows you to grill raw meat while exploring the Starfall islands during the main story quest. This mini-game is added in the free Monster Hunter collaboration DLC pack (to be added on November 14th, 2022).

How to Unlock the Cooking Meat Mini-Game

Obtain the BBQ Spit by downloading the Monster Hunter collaboration DLC.

To unlock the cooking meat mini-game, you need to download the free Monster Hunter collaboration update pack which becomes available on November 14th. Afterwards, you will receive the BBQ Spit key item that allows you to access the mini-game in addition to two Monster Hunter-themed outfits for Sonic.

Effects of Eating Cooked Meat

Eating cooked meat will grant Sonic a power-up, likely in the form of a temporary increase in his performance in battle (as a nod to the Monster Hunter series’ mechanic). More information on the effects of eating meat will be added when it is confirmed in the game.
