When you upgrade to the new power core, you are recommended to return to the world. Target the right arm of the second worker in Assembly Halls, then finish him off to cut this appendage.
This will drop the ASTir Vibro-Cutter, a reliable one-handed sword weapon that is a step above the Reclaimed Piston.
Equally useful is the Heavy-Duty Titan, an working wrench that works as a warhammer back in the old power substation. Take the corridor opposite the entrance door, then bring the Exo lift to the sub-basement.
Go through the tunnel to reach the shut door on the right, then unlock it to expose the hammer-wielding enemy. Dodge to evade his savage attack then target his arm to obtain the weapon.
