Game Difficulty Guide for Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal features adjustable game difficulty that allows you to tweak the challenge offered by enemies encountered throughout the game. To change the game difficulty, your character must reach level 60 (max) on Normal mode first.
How to Change Game Difficulty
Below are the steps to change game difficulty after you have leveled up your character to 60.
1 | After reaching level 60, go to Westmarch. |
---|---|
2 | Open your map and click/tap on the skull icon on the upper right corner of the screen. |
3 | Select the difficulty you wish to play on. |
What Changes in Higher Difficulties?
Monster Combat Rating
Enemy difficulty is indicated by their combat rating which goes up as you play on harder difficulty modes. Because of this, it is recommended to be adequately equipped before taking on more challenging content in the game.
Equipment Drops
More challenging content allows you to obtain better gear. Equipment for higher Paragon levels can be farmed when you play on Hell I difficulty or higher with the best items dropping on Hell IV (the highest difficult setting).
Required Dungeon Party Size
Hell I to Hell IV difficulty requires you to form a party of at least two members as these areas are stronger enemies that appear in more waves. Try to assemble a team of able and well-equipped players before attempting to run these dungeons.
