What is Scoria?
Required Material to Upgrade the Helliquary
Scoria is a rare material that can be used to upgrade the Helliquary in Diablo Immortal. Upon obtaining Scoria, visit any Blacksmith in the game to refine it into Hellfire Scoria for 100 gold. You can then use the processed material to level up your Helliquary which will unlock new demonic targets (bosses) that you can hunt in the game.
Ways to Get Scoria in Diablo Immortal
Do Bounties (Westmarch Bounty Board)
Completing certain Bounties listed on the Bounty Board in Westmarch rewards you with Scoria and is among the best ways to obtain the resource throughout the game. Check the available list of Bounties as often as you can when farming for Scoria to upgrade the Helliquary quickly.
Rank Up the Empowered Battle Pass (Requires Purchase)
Scoria is also among the items you can get for leveling up the Empowered Battle Pass. The only downside is that the Empowered Pass must be purchased through the in-game shop (under Services) to unlock its rewards track. Note Scoria cannot be obtained from any of the Free Battle Pass rank rewards.
Defeat Helliquary Target Bosses
Vanquishing Helliquary bosses also lets you receive Scoria. This is easier said than done as most of the demonic targets are incredibly challenging to defeat even with a party of 8 well-equipped players. Be sure to level up your Combat Rating as well by leveling up and upgrading your gear before taking on Helliquary bosses in the game.
