All Tanta’s Familiar Locations Guide for Forspoken
What are Tantas Familiars?
Tanta’s Familiars are a type of collectible creature in Forspoken that resemble real-world cats and are found all throughout Athia. You can usually spot Tanta’s Familiars prowling monuments. Approaching them stealthily allows Frey to befriend them. Upon earning Tanta’s Familiar’s trust, they will move to Pilgrim’s Refuges where Frey can play with them.
It is currently unknown what happens after you befriend a Familiar, though it is expected that rewards can be obtained for finding them.
How to Befriend a Tanta’s Familiar
The Tantas’ familiars will be shy at first and might disappear at the first hint of anything they perceive as a threat. A yellow exclamation mark will appear if you attract their attention, and you’ll need to wait for it to disappear before continuing your approach. Fail to do so, and they’ll be gone before you know it.
Hold L2 to get low, and try to approach as slowly as you can.
Using Magic Parkour to Reach Tanta’s Familiars
Some Tanta’s Familiars may require Frey to use Magic Parkour to reach. Because of this, certain Familiars may be inaccessible if you have not yet learned a specific spell or maneuver during the main story.
