Recommended Gameplay Settings for Forspoken

This page contains a guide on recommended gameplay settings for Forspoken, including options you can adjust for a smoother experience throughout the game’s main story campaign and for achieving 100% completion (Platinum trophy).

Set Game Difficulty to Easy.

For an easier time advancing through the main story, set the difficulty to Easy. Note that experience (EXP), enemy item drop rate, and Flashback rewards are the same across all difficulty modes so you can simply play on the easiest setting to level up fast, get rare crafting resources, or achieve the best results for optional challenges in the game.

Forspoken Game Difficulty Guide

Turn on Auto-Evasion.

Enabling Auto-Evasion lets Frey automatically dodge incoming enemy attacks (as long as they are not unblockable or undodgeable) in battle. This makes it easier to get high Combat Grades that increase the EXP and enemy item drop rate, especially when you want to level up fast or farm specific crafting resources from various enemies in the game.

You can enable or disable Auto-Evasion at any time during play from Settings in the game’s menu.

Set Cuff Chat Frequency to High.

Setting Cuff Chat Frequency to High lets you hear more of Frey and her sentient bracelet’s banter as you explore the vast land of Athia. Some of their random dialogue may be about interesting topics that you may find enjoyable while traversing the open world or when you are in the thick of battle against various enemies in the game.

You can adjust how often Frey and Cuff interact at any time during play from Settings in the game’s menu.
