All Bonds (Friendship) Guide and Rewards List for Like A Dragon: Ishin
In Like A Dragon: Ishin! (LAD Ishin/Yakuza: Ishin), you can befriend various shopkeeper and townspeople non-player characters (NPCs) by interacting with them often or meeting specific conditions in the game. Doing so lets you obtain various rewards from them such as useful items, equipment, and Virtue.
How to Increase Friendship (Bonds) with Shopkeepers and Service NPCs
Raise your friendship with various shopkeepers and service NPCs usually requires you to simply visit and transact with them as often as possible during the main story. This means that you will need to purchase items from them or avail of their services to deepen your bond with them in the game.
A few shopkeepers and service NPCs, however, may require you to fulfill their requests which involve doing Substories or turning in specific items they need.
How to Increase Friendship (Bonds) with Townspeople
Different non-merchant characters found around town can also be befriended. Most of these NPCs require you to clear their unique Substories in addition to very specific requirements throughout the game.
Reaching maximum bond levels rewards Virtue.
Upon reaching the maximum level of friendship with an NPC, you will be rewarded with Virtue. Because of this, try to go around town as often as possible to befriend various characters.
