Substory 63: The Boy Who Cried Bear Strategy Guide
Defeating the bear.
Make sure to bring some healing items before approaching the parent and his child as the bear will immediately attack you in the middle of the conversation. The bear deals a lot of damage in close quarters so it is recommended to use your pistol and fight at long range as much as possible. After you beat the bear, the boy will give you an Inviting Hat and the substory will be cleared.
