Cast Changes (New Characters)

Like A Dragon: Ishin - New Characters

Because of the addition of several characters from Yakuza 0, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and Yakuza: Like A Dragon to the game, the overall cast is different. Among those making their debut in the game’s story are Hiroki Awano (as Takeda Kanryusai), Daisaku Kuze (as Ito Kashitaro), and Joon-gi Han (as Yamazaki Susumu).

Trooper Cards (usable outside of Battle Dungeon)

Like A Dragon: Ishin - Trooper Cards

Like A Dragon: Ishin will allow you to use Trooper Cards during main story and sub story battles which were previously only accessible while in the Battle Dungeon area of the game. This expands the options available to you during encounters by allowing you to organize a team of Shinsengumi with unique moves at your disposal.

Ishin Difficulty (new hardest difficulty)

EX Hard is no longer the game’s most challenging difficulty as the game introduces Ishin difficulty. To unlock this new extreme difficulty setting, you must purchase the Like A Dragon: Ishin Deluxe Edition which also bundles other exclusive add-ons like new character skins (cosmetics), weapons, and items.
