Which Difficulty Should You Start With?
Choose Normal difficulty when playing for the first time.
For players and those new to the Yakuza series of action games, it is generally recommended to start the game on Normal mode. The default setting serves as a benchmark for how the combat is intended to feel, allowing beginners to gauge how well they fare against standard enemies. From there, you can simply change the difficulty setting if you find battles to be too easy or too hard.
Being able to lower the difficulty is useful if you find yourself stuck on a difficult encounter, especially against bosses fought later in the game.
