Post-Game Unlockables Guide for Like A Dragon: Ishin!

Premium New Game Mode (NG+)
After clearing the main story, Premium New Game mode is unlocked. This is essentially the game’s version of New Game Plus (NG+) which allows you to play through the entirety of the game again with weapons, equipment, items, skills, Virtue, gambling points, lottery tickets, and money from your previous playthrough carried over.

Master Difficulty
Master difficulty mode becomes available once you complete all story chapters on any difficulty. Enemies on this difficulty setting have boosted health and damage output, are more aggressive in groups, and will react faster than those encountered in Hard mode.
Like A Dragon: Ishin Game Difficulty Guide
While playing on Master difficulty mode, you will not be able to retry battles after you are knocked out. Once your health is depleted, you will need to restart from the nearest checkpoint afterwards.
Heat Gauge depletion rate is also increased on Master difficulty mode, making the setting even more challenging to clear even for veteran players.
Bakumatsu Tour Mode
Beating the game also unlocks Bakumatsu Tour (Premium Adventure) which lets you freely roam the open world with all of your progress after the final boss battle intact.
Ultimate Battles Mode
Ultimate Battles mode also becomes available once you beat the game. This game mode will test your skills through a number of different challenges that you must complete within a time limit.
200 Ryo
You will also be rewarded with 200 Ryo after completing the main story. You can use this currency in Premium New Game or in Bakumatsu Tour.
