Chak ‘Lok Boss Strategies

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss:

Use the Threat Sensor

Use the Threat Sensor gadget to avoid getting ambushed by the boss. This will help you spot the boss around a zone. Only the leave the zone when picking up weapons, grenades or shock coils.

Take cover and jump away from Chak ‘Lok’s Attacks

The boss will either shoot you using a Pulse Carbine or do a jump attack using its Energy Sword. Either take cover or jump away to evade the attacks.

Drain Chak ‘Lok’s Shield

Use the Pulse Rifle to damage the shield of the boss. In order to take down the shield, pick up an electric Dynamo Grenade around the area to stun the boss first.

You also can use the Disprutor as an alternative stunning weapon. Then pick off the shield using the Plasma weapon you have.

Deal heavy damage using Shock Coils

Leave the zone covered by Threat Sensor and pick up a Shock Coil from corners quickly. This might bait the boss to reveal itself so get away from your spot and throw a Shock Coil.

If you’re playing Legendary, get your distance away from the boss and let it reveal itself again. While unnoticed, throw the Shock Coil from a distance.

Use Grappleshot to get away

Rely on your grappleshot to get away from the boss. You can also use it to get close to picking up Shock Coils or weapons.

Land headshots using Kinetic Weapons

Use your Kinetic weapon and deal headshots as many as you can. Complement your damage with grenades.
