How to Get and Use The Drop Wall in Halo Infinite
What is a Drop Wall?
The Drop Wall is an equipment that can only be used in the Multiplayer Mode in Halo Infinite. The purpose of this gadget is to summon a temporary shield to protect yourself during an enemy encounter, because it can block gunfire and grenades. It is a single-sided deployable shield providing instant cover from enemy fire that will last up to 10 seconds.
Where to find?
You can easily locate this equipment across the map and looting areas in Multiplayer Mode, this item also spawns in specific Equipment Dispensers. Here’s the list of areas on where you can find the Drop Wall equipment.
- Deadlock
- Fragmentation
- High Power
- Live Fire
- Streets
It is also important to note that there is a limited usage count on the Drop Wall, you can carry and use it 2 to 3 times and has a 5-second cooldown between every use.
How to Use
Once you have found and picked up a Drop Wall gadget, you need to remember that this tool has a 5-second cooldown and it’s better to use this on crucial moments or when encountering new enemies. To activate the equipment, just press the RB Button on Xbox or Q key on the PC and it will deploy the shield that will protect you from enemy attacks.
Even though the Drop Wall is known to be a protective and defensive equipment, it still has some weaknesses. The wall blocks from this shield can be destroyed by the use of Pulse Carbine. Plasma Weapons are the most effective against shields and this specific gun can easily destroy this gadget.
Another weakness that this tool has is it can also be destroyed by only shooting the bottom part of the shield, which is the main metal tool of the equipment that deploys the big walls.
