You can easily locate this equipment across the map and looting areas in Multiplayer Mode, this item also spawns in specific Equipment Dispensers. Here’s the list of areas on where you can find the Grappleshot equipment.

  1. Bazaar
  2. Behemoth
  3. Deadlock
  4. Fragmentation
  5. Highpower
  6. Launch Site

It is also important to note that there is a limited usage count on getting this equipment, you can only pick up grapple hooks 5 shots during big team battle mode and only 3 shots during small team battle game mode.

How to Use

Once you have found and picked up a Grappleshot equipment, you need to aim at a certain surface and may press the RB Button on Xbox or Q key to activate and use the hooks. There is also an indicator when you can use this equipment to a certain surface or platform, when you aim on it and if there’s a yellow dot on the middle of your crosshair that means it’s already good to go.

When using the grappling hooks, you can also move around, sprint, and jump. As you are moving towards to the other side of the surface you wanna go onto, you can also build some momentum by moving around while in air so you that can land on your desired speed, timing, and phase.

In any case that you want to cancel the grapple hook because you don’t wanna go to that certain surface or platform anymore, you may just press B button on Xbox or the Ctrl key on PC to crouch/slide. It will cut the hook from the surface, and it will also cause you to fall while in air, but don’t worry as there is no fall damage in Halo Infinite.
