Pelican Down

Destroy the North AA Gun

1	Head north to the location of the AA Gun (north).
2	As you approach the area, try to snipe the Grunts, shielded Jackals, Brutes from the trees to give you cover.
3	Once all the enemies have been dealt with, approach the lift leading to the AA Gun. Red shielded Jackals will appear when you get near. Have them bunch up and lob grenades to take them out quickly.
4	Interact with the terminal on the right to activate the lift and ride it up.
5	Take out the Banished in the next area. Note that you can nab a Ghost nearby or from any of the enemies riding them to give you more mobility. The vehicle also has its own weapons so you can save some of your own ammo when using it.
6	Head for the gravity lift directly under the gun to go up to the deck.
7	Approach the console ahead to expose the AA gun’s core.
8	Watch the cutscene.
9	Destroy the AA gun’s core.
10	Jump back down from AA gun.
11	Head for the east AA gun.

Destroy the East AA Gun

1	Grappleshot to the overlook up the slope leading to the east AA gun to give you a good vantage point to snipe the enemies below. Behind the overlook is a Banished installation that you can destroy.
2	You can approach the entrance of the east AA gun by going through a cave passage found past the path just behind the overlook. Before going through the tunnel, grappleshot above its entrance to find a UNSC Audio Log inside a ruined shelter. Afterwards, head back down and enter the tunnel. There is also a Spartan Core at the end of it that you can grab.
3	Clear out the enemies along the way to the east AA gun. There will also be some Hunters near the area so prepare for a long drawn out fight.
4	After killing off the Hunters, head past the east AA gun first and run all the way down the slope on the other end to find an outpost with a Banished Audio Log inside.
5	When you find the gravity lift that takes you to the east AA gun deck, it will be deactivated. Head inside the small cave a little ways past the lift to turn it on.
6	Interact with the console to expose the core.
7	Watch the cutscene.
8	Destroy the AA gun’s core.
9	Jump back down from AA gun.
10	Head for the west AA gun.

Destroy the West AA Gun

1	On your way to assault the west AA gun, you can nab a Ghost from the Banished near the river to allow you more mobility against the enemies there.
2	Follow the path going to the last gun until you reach a small lake with some enemies and a platform in the middle. To the right of the area is a Banished Installation (Propaganda Tower) you can destroy to earn Valor.
3	As you reach the bridge, look down on your left and free the UNSC soldier captured by the banished. Then, head down and help him clear out the enemies.
4	Once you have dealt with the enemies. Head back up the bridge and activate the lift using the terminal on the right.
5	In the next area, head to the left behind the first building and free the UNSC soldier inside the building ahead.
6	Take out all the enemies in the area with the UNSC soldier. One of the buildings further down the path has a Banished Audio Log you can play.
7	Grapple up the cliff wall below the the west AA gun. Then, free the captured UNSC soldier just below the gun and free him.
8	Clear out the enemies near the gravity lift. You can find shock coils near the buildings to help you take out the Brutes in the area.
9	Go up the gravity lift and interact with the terminal.
10	Watch the cutscene.
11	Destroy the AA gun’s core.
12	Jump back down from AA gun.
13	Head for the west AA gun.

Return to the Pelican – Defeat Tovarus and Hyperius

1	Head back to the Pelican and prepare to battle Tovarus and Hyperius.
2	Take out the chopper that Hyperius is riding by lobbing fusion coils first. You can also use the SPNKr rocket launcher on the ridge to the northeast. Afterwards, head to the west side of the area near the rocks and treelines to give you cover against Hyperius when he fires from afar. He will attempt to get near you to take you out with his Ravager Blade so pull away from him while destroying his shield. When he is vulnerable, aim for his head using a power weapon.
3	Tovarus, meanwhile, will be moving between the platforms in the middle of the area. Use a plasma weapon to destroy his shield and switch to a power weapon to deplete his health. You can go up the wrecked buildings surrounding the platforms in the middle or the hill to the south to get a good vantage point to hit Tovarus. Get behind cover when or use the Drop Wall when he fires his Scrap Cannon. Feel free between the wrecked buildings if Tovarus gets out of view.
4	You can get a Spartan core on the wreckage southeast of the middle platforms where Tovarus moves around.

Locate the Pilot

1	Head to the marked location to find the pilot.
2	You are likely to run into some enemies through the wreckage so take them out quickly.
3	Watch the cutscene at the marked location.
