How to Adjust Weapon Offset in Halo Infinite
What is Weapon Offset?
Weapon offset is a setting in Halo Infinite that determines how much of your screen (UI) is taken up by your equipped weapon. While the default weapon offset may be enough for you to play competitively in most cases, you may want to try tweaking the setting for specific weapon types to make them more comfortable to use.
Steps to Adjust Weapon Offset
Below are the steps to adjust the weapon offset of the gun or melee weapon you currently have equipped.
1 | During a game, open the menu and select SETTINGS (fourth option from the top). |
---|---|
2 | Select UI from the upper section of the screen (fifth option from the left). |
3 | Scroll down to WEAPON OFFSETS. |
4 | Select Weapon Type (melee, pistol, rifle, and heavy). |
5 | Set Horizontal Offset (0% to 100%). The more you increase this setting, the more the weapon shifts to your right side. |
6 | Set Vertical Offset (0% to 100%). The more you increase this setting, the more the weapon shifts to the bottom of the screen. |
7 | Set Depth Offset (0% to 100%). The more you increase this setting, the more the weapon pulls back (as if your character’s head is closer to the gun). |
