Walkthrough

Safehouse

1 Read the various tutorials on how to use the Safehouse, including resting to recover HP and MP and claiming DLC items.
2 Read the tutorial on Soul Level. Note that there will be two Soul Level dialogue events here with a chance to increase either Arrow or Milady’s Soul Level.
3 Go to the world map and head to Bar Heidrun in Shinsando.

Shinsando – Karakucho – Mansei Realm

1 After watching the scene at Bar Heidrun, access the world map again and go to Karakucho.
2 Check the gate next to Club Cretaceuos.
3 Watch the cutscene. Afterwards, Saizo will join the party.
4 Access the world map again and travel to Mansei Realm. Then, go to the COMP smith.
5 Access the world map again and go to Axis.

Axis

1 Go up the stairs to the north towards the entrance to Arrow’s Soul Matrix.
2 Watch the cutscene.

Arrow’s Soul Matrix (1F)

1 Before heading into the dungeon, it is recommended to  have Onmoraki for Fire attacks and Chironnupu for Force the upcoming floor boss (Takeminakata) is weak against them. Other recommended demons for this area are Dormarth for Shock, Poltergeist for Ice, and Tsuchigumo for Ailment.
2 Head to Gate 1 of the area to the northwest. Be sure to talk to Tsuchigumo along the way to recruit him.
3 Examine Gate 1 to unlock Arrow’s Summoner Skill. Then, read the tutorial on Summoner Skills.
4 Read the tutorial on Risky Enemies and avoid the one that appears for now (it is weak to Ice and Force).
5 Proceed to the northeast and approach the phantom.
6 Watch the cutscene. Then, head for the boss gate and prepare to battle Takeminakata.
7 Takeminakata is weak against Fire and Force and can easily be dealt with if you have Onmoraki and Chironnupu equipped.

Takeminakata will eventually summon 2 Chironnupu to aid him. Hit them with Shock using, Dormarth, Pixie, or Hare of Inaba. They are also weak to fire so Onmoraki will still be useful here.

Keep exploiting the enemies’ weaknesses to trigger Sabbaths until they are defeated.

8 After defeating Takeminakata, Vision Quests will become available. Arrow will also acquire a new Summoner Skill.
9 Head back to the entrance of the Soul Matrix and watch the cutscene. Afterwards, the 1F of Milady and Saizo’s Soul Matrix dungeons will also become accessible.
10 From here, you can head to Bar Heidrun in Shisando to access Personal Events which will become available at specific points of the main story to increase an ally’s Soul Level.
