How to Unlock the True Ending in Soul Hackers 2

Soul Hackers 2‘s true ending is essentially the game’s “good” ending and can be viewed by meeting a specific condition before the game’s final boss battle. This allows you to save Figue after defeating her at the end of the game’s main story.

Unlocking the True Ending (Good Ending)

Answer “I do not” to all of Aion Illusions’ questions at the 24th Ward Municipal Towers – Bone Area (Final Area).

To get the true ending, you must answer “I do not” when asked by any of the Aion Illusions found all throughout the Bone Area of the 24th Ward Municipal Towers (the game’s final dungeon). Doing so will allow you to receive a total of 4 Moonlight Keys which is required to trigger the special option needed for unlocking the true ending.

Note that answering “I do” even just once will let you receive a Sunlight Key which is the only requirement to automatically trigger the normal “bad” ending after the final boss fight.

Defeat the final boss and choose to “reach out” to Figue (second option).

Once you have responded with “I do not” to everything the Aion Illusions ask you, proceed to the final boss battle and defeat the last boss. Afterwards, there will be a special dialogue section that lets you choose the fate of Figue. You can either “let her go” to get the normal ending or “reach out to her” to get the true ending. Choose the latter.

  1. I was able to get the true ending with a mix of keys so not sure what the exact requirement is for the keys. I did “I do” for the first two and “I do not” for the last two.
