What are Demon Gifts?
Gifts are items in Soul Hackers 2 that are given by ally demons as a sign of appreciation whenever they learn all of their skills. This requires you to level up demons through battling which becomes increasingly important as you take on tougher enemies in the game.
Possible Demon Gifts
Mistiques
Demons can yield a variety of items with different rarities when they complete their skillset. Among the possible gifts they may give are Mistiques which can be equipped on a character’s COMP to grant them special active and passive abilities.
Tips for Receiving Gifts from Demons
Level up Low Level Demons.
After a demon has completed its skillset, it will grow at a significantly slower rate and will yield gifts less often. Because of this, try to spend time leveling up weaker demons in your roster for obtaining rare items, particularly Mistiques as you go through the game’s main story.
Save Before Leveling Up to Reroll Gifts (to be confirmed).
It may be possible to save before a demon levels up and learns the last of their skills to essentially “reroll” the item that they give you. If the demon does not yield a Mistique or an item you want from them, you could just simply reload your save until you get it. Please note that this has yet to be tested in the game. New information on this will be added when it is confirmed.
