New Game Plus (NG+) Guide for Soul Hackers 2
In Soul Hackers 2, New Game Plus (NG+) becomes available once you have beaten the game for the first time on any difficulty mode. Beginning a NG+ playthrough gives you access to many new features not available in your previous run such as new events and requests.
It is generally recommended to play through NG+ as clearing new content unlocked in this mode rewards you with new and more powerful demons and equipment.
NG+ Additional Features and Content
Below are all new features and content in Soul Hackers 2 that only become accessible after beating the game and starting a NG+ playthrough.
Data Transfer
The Data Transfer menu is unlocked in NG+ which gives you the choice of carrying over various elements from your previous playthrough. Below are the things you can import to your NG+ run based on your preferences.
- Character Level
- COMP Modifications
- Auto Map
- Money
- Items
- Magic Crystals
- Demon Compendium and Demon Fusions
Personal Events
Some additional Personal Events will also only appear on NG+ which allow you to view special cutscenes and story bits involving the game’s playable characters. These events are often light-hearted in nature and offer interesting bits of information on each character’s personality and backstory.
Additional Requests
New post-game Requests are also available in NG+. Most of these optional quests pit you against extremely powerful enemies which should be attempted with end-game equipment and demons. Useful rewards such as powerful items and demons to add to your arsenal can also be obtained for clearing these new Requests.
